MPP Fleet
Modular and Efficient Shipping
Flexible, efficient, and port-independent. Designed to eliminate bottlenecks and bring seamless cargo movement to every corner of the planet.
VISION
-
Global Reach, Seamless Stops
Imagine a large carrier (mothership), stopping around Antwerp, Gibraltar, Quebec, New York, New Orleans, Tampico, Cartagena, Amazon River and Rio De Janeiro, Buenos Aires to load and discharge Barges at sea.
-
Port-Free Operations
The mothership can stop outside larger ports, releasing barges for onward navigation to river destinations or small ports across the area, avoiding transshipment in larger ports, and giving new meaning to smaller ports.
-
Modular Barges, Infinite Use
Standardized barges, carrying dry-bulk, wet- bulk, breakbulk and containers can be bought by shippers, traders or independent investors, and either used locally (for transportation or floating storage), or leased to MPP for their use in other trades.

LEGACY

- The Barges were not self-propelled, which required tugs and thus increased cost of transportation
- The Barges could not be tracked, leading to complexity of storage, and leading to their loss and theft on rivers
- The mother ship had a high consumption of fuel - 70-120 mt HFO per day
IMPACT
MPP Fleet is a solution to many problems which exist in shipping and shipbuilding today:
-
Aging and expensive to replace river and coastal fleet
Average age of river fleet and costal fleet today exceeds 25 years
-
Lack of consensus on fuel type, despite available solutions for electric-powered fleet
Electric power is developing at enormous speed, and has already revolutionized the car industry
-
New trend towards modular design, which is common for other industries
The last most common and successful cases modular approach in shipping were the “Liberty ships” built in the USA, and the introduction of containers.
-
Lack of economies of scale to integrate the best up-to-date technology
Autonomous shipping, electric power solutions all exist, but lack scalability due to lack of scalable projects
MPP is the only project in shipbuilding which offers a fully integrated solution, that includes:

- modular, simple and efficient ship design
- durability and zero dependency on fossil fuels
- multiple purpose fleet, including transportation and storage
- reduced port charges
- low-cost solution for industrial and individual investors
- available and scalable land-based infrastructure
- possibility to buy and operate, or lease back and earn
- borderless investment
- geopolitically neutral asset
